Amanda plays a critical role in the planning and execution of our domestic pipeline events. In Fiscal
Year 19, she was responsible for over 80 events. She oversees our various communication campaigns and partnered closely with the marketing team on this effort to deliver over 324 email communications. This volume and audience size requires an incredibly strong attention to detail and Amanda consistently
executes with excellence.

What I had hoped to see when Amanda joined our team was a continuation of the “take-charge” initiative that seemed to be jumping off her resume page. What I got was so much more. I have watched Amanda blossom into an integral part of the team. She is thoughtful in meetings; she listens to the team and respects what is being said. She jumps at opportunities to identify or analyze where we might benefit from change or a fresh idea in our communications and strategy. She continues to work on paying close attention to detail, pulling information for our metrics, and organizing data to streamline it for analyzation. Additionally, I’ve come to rely on her artistic eye; her great sense of layout and design for invitations and marketing pieces.
If I had to choose one thing, what stands out most about Amanda is her ability to communicate. A direct and thoughtful colleague, she offers suggestions without ever seeming off-putting. She is always willing to take on more, and is always open to suggestions, revisions and second drafts. Amanda’s warm and inviting personality is infectious, inspiring others on the team to

I met Amanda in early 2019, when I was transitioning into a new role within Kellogg. Not only did she welcome me with open arms, but she was always available to answer all my questions regarding our CRM system, new vendors, and best practices regarding communications.
This past year we worked together on finding ways to launch a one Kellogg approach to all our events, combining best practices from the full-time and working professional programs.

due in large part to Amanda's vision.

Recently, when my department had to pivot to a hybrid orientation for the first time, Amanda was happy to make time to meet with my team to share her resources, advice, and answer questions based on her experience of having to host an entirely virtual prospective student event earlier in the year, which ended up having the highest attendance in the history of the event.
Amanda is a true team player able to balance ownership and autonomy in her own projects and embodying a collaborative spirit to help move a team to reach their goals.

Amanda has brought a new dimension to her position at the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, continually taking on new responsibilities, surpassing expectations and finding creative solutions to project challenges.
Within a very short time following her arrival at the Skokie Chamber, she redesigned print and online communications for more clarity, to capture reader attention and to update their look; broadened the Chamber’s social media presence and even went out into the field to take her own photographs when new cover ideas were needed for the annual community guide.
